**IMPORTANT UPDATE**
Actually not important, but an update nonetheless. After careful consultation with experts in the field of Chinese cuisine (also known as cryptofoodology) I have asscertained that the little sphincter like objects were in fact sphincters of the squid. Interesting what people consider food when it is battered and deep fried.

I think chocolate also works, (chocolate covered ants), but I think I prefered battered and fried, although a battered and fried Mars bar, ummmmm
